The small footprint renders it an ideal solution for diagnostic laboratories with small space. Applications of the akiron® NEO can be found in the field of immunology, especially in routine tests for the detection of autoantibodies as HEp-2 cells (ANA) and granulocytes (ANCA). Worldwide first and fully automated system for standardized immunofluorescence imaging and data processing, AKLIDES® system digital fluorescence microscope is used in immunofluorescence tests on glass slides for the automated determination of ANA, ANCA, nDNA, analysis of microparticles (Cytobead®) and for documentation of tissue sections.

Controlled by the AKLIDES® Software, the AKLIDES® system has the ability to produce valid standardized analyses and to document immunofluorescence assays electronically to augment daily laboratory routine in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. The AKLIDES system offers users the following advantages; high sample throughput by combining measurement and analysis, electronic documentation and data transfer within a network, automatic endpoint titre determination for ANA and ANCA from one serum dilution and processing of multipara-metric assays by combining cell and microparticles analysis, as in the CytoBead Technology.

AKENOMI NEO is a compact and highly flexible instrument providing cost-effective automation for IFA assays. The device performs all the following assay processes:

  • Sample pipetting
  • Slide washing
  • Reagent addition
  • Flexible incubation times

AKENOMI NEO works in connection with AKLIDES® & akiron® Systems, fully automated systems for standardized immunofluorescence imaging and data processing, used in immunofluorescence tests on glass slides for the automated determination of ANA, ANCA, nDNA, analysis of microparticles (Cytobead®) and for documentation of tissue sections.

The compact design of AKENOMI NEO helps to maximize the use of limited bench space and has the capacity of processing batches of up to 64 samples and 12 IFA slides at a time. The IFA Application Software is designed with optimized user experience and interface; hence, all assay parameters can be entered by means of a simple spreadsheet interface with instant online help available for each parameter. Processing of profile with multiple tests is facilitated by easy instructions prompted by the device and the user is as to where to start loading each type of slide. DotDiver2.0 is a fully automated processor of Line and Dot immunoassays. The small footprint renders the device as an ideal solution for laboratories with small lab space. With a unique software design, the device provides a completely hands-free experience for quantitative, semi-quantitative and qualitative testing via repeated diving of the antigen coated strips into the ready to use cartridges. This special setup provides an optimal reaction environment with reduced assay processing and result analysis time for up to 24 different tests simultaneously.
